Yes, and more importantly NO! We have for too long believed that it was the Law itself that was abolished, rather than the old covenant experience of the Law–sin and death. Everything involving the shedding of blood ended at the cross (the types of *physical* circumcision and sacrifices) according to Daniel 9:27. But all of the principles of the Law remain and are fulfilled in Christ, and Christ must be received in us. The types could never produce righteousness; they were object lessons that were practiced before the cross and that still remain for us to study, that we may all know know the substance of the Law in Christ, thus the new covenant which all generations could experience but will be perfected in us in these last days.
Now let’s look at this from the Scriptures…
* * *
(of the heart)
“YAHUAH thy God will *circumcise thine heart*, and the heart of thy Seed, to love YAHUAH thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live” (Deut. 30:6).
“He is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God” (Rom. 2:29).
[Note: ‘Jew’ is ‘Yahudi’ (“<praiser> of YAH” in Hebrew), thus we are still Yahudiym (Jews) with the same Law; this leads us to our next section…]

(by Jesus, His merits)
“Therefore will I offer in His tabernacle *sacrifices of joy*; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto YAHUAH” (Psalm 27:6).
“Praise YAHUAH Tsebaoth (of Hosts): for YAHUAH is good; for His mercy endureth forever … bring the *sacrifice of praise* into the house of YAHUAH (Jer. 33:11).
“***By [Jesus]*** therefore let us offer the *sacrifice of praise* to God continually (Tamiyd), that is, the fruit of our lips *giving thanks to His name*. But to *do good* and to *fellowship* forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased” (Heb. 13:15-16).

Physical circumcision and sacrifices ended at the cross (to reflect the old covenant and law of sin and death being abolished), but the Law itself which commanded the types still continues, thus true circumcision and sacrifices (both of the heart) continue. They were not only to bring us to Christ in the sense of understanding His sacrifice, but they were also to bring us to Christ in His sacrificial worship of the Father, that it be manifest in our hearts and expressed in our praises as well as tithes and offerings. None of this is temporary, only the earthly shedding of blood was temporary, which Jesus finished on the cross.
Therefore, let us be circumcised (have the blessing of righteousness by faith, Rom. 4:11) and offer up unto YAHUAH our sacrifices all perfumed by the perfect merits of our Saviour. This is the new covenant experience. And remember, the Everlasting Covenant is the Source of the Law, which is the channel, thus making paramount the Covenant–promised to Abraham 430 years before the giving of the external Law. So the types that involved the shedding of blood were only temporary to bring us to Christ, out of the old covenant of sin (breaking the Covenant) and death. Likewise, we should not worship the Tables of Stone, which are also shadows. I’m afraid that many of us need to repent of this old covenant image worship and return to the source, which is the everlasting covenant made by God and poured out to us in blessings from the Fountain of Christ through His wounds of Calvary. Him, the Living Torah–the best Friend anyone could have–we can safely and joyfully worship!
